Our bodies become lethargic and soft when we’re not challenged. When we exercise, we throw our body into a form of chaos. Once the workout is over, our bodies expend calories to get the body into its pre-exercise state. The idea is to work harder than you normally do for a short period of time to surprise and overload your body, recover, then start over again. Whether you’re jumping, pumping or squeezing, every bit of intensity you can throw into the mix matters.
