“Time” just came out with a story last week on how our digitally dependent culture is eating away at our quality of life one text at a time. Our constant need to multitask has weakened our ability to make focused decisions and enjoy simple pleasures, making us less productive, stressed out and unhappy.
Though quiet meditation is one way to center, scientists suggest that doing any activity that fully commands our attention, for at least 20 minutes, allows the brain to re-boot, declutter and rejuvenate. Might as well re-boot the ole’ metabolism while you’re at it. Time for some Mojo!
